Template for Incorporating Family Links Into Contingency Plans

This template has been developed to help colleagues involved in restoring family links (RFL) and protecting family links (PFL) develop contingency plans based on the needs of the separated, missing, dead and their families in emergency situations. It should be read alongside the “Guide to incorporating family links into contingency plans”.
 
The structure of this template is based on the 2023 Contingency Planning Guide (CPG) produced by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The aim is to help you incorporate RFL/PFL activities into National Society contingency plans, which may include Movement contingency plans. For ICRC delegations, it may make more sense to coordinate with operational contingency plans.
