A comprehensive web-based solution for managing information on missing persons and human remains

Resolve Platform is a comprehensive web-based solution developed by the ICRC to be offered to partners – governments, experts, agencies, organizations, etc. – to help record, process, store, archive and share information on missing persons and human remains. It helps in two parallel and complementary lines of investigation: i) to properly account for the missing and to support efforts for their search and ii) to properly manage information on the dead by increasing traceability in mortuary operations and supporting efforts in human identification. It is for the use of practitioners, experts, first responders, institutions and States to appropriately respond to evolving and increasingly complex humanitarian crises (such as disasters, armed conflicts, migration and other situations of violence), often requiring collaborative action between different stakeholders.
