Women and war exhibition
Women and girls in war-torn countries are faced with unimaginable risks, threats and challenges, but they experience war in a multitude of ways – as victims, combatants or promoters of peace.
This photo exhibition aims to show that the image of women as helpless victims of war is flawed. Women play an active role in conflicts; they are fighters or peace agents or provide for the needs of their community with resilience and courage.
The exhibit consists of 47 framed photos (68 x 49 cm) and their captions (10 x 15 cm, bilingual French/English), transported in 5 boxes (200 kg).
Only orders from institutions, non-profit organizations and National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies will be accepted.
