EcoSec Response

ref. 4377
This is the third in a series of three handbooks covering project cycle management from the perspective of economic security. The first two handbooks are Assessing Economic Security and EcoSec Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation. These three publications complement the three basic EcoSec training modules of the same names. The third handbook covers a number of key steps of project implementation, such as communicating with crisis-affected communities, strengthening beneficiary participation, registering beneficiaries, ordering and distributing goods, tracking distributions and providing services to institutions. It also discusses the five EcoSec commodity types: cash and vouchers, food, productive commodities, essential household items, and services. As this handbook focuses primarily on EcoSec projects, its main target audience is EcoSec field staff who are involved in project implementation.
