Physical Rehabilitation Programme: 2019 Annual Report

Access to physical rehabilitation services is essential for ensuring that people with physical disabilities participate fully in society. Regaining mobility is an important step towards having the same opportunities as other members of society. It can mean enjoying such basic rights as access to food, shelter and education, finding a job and earning an income. In 2019 the ICRC assisted over 420,000 disabled people in more than 30 countries.
